Our exploratory portfolio is significant and diverse, ranging from traditional approaches to some of the most challenging topics, recruits and settings.
Our love for qual runs deep and our designs entail some creative techniques, and exciting and innovative topics – from spending hours in consumers’ cars discussing the driverless car of the future, to exploring where devices like the Amazon Echo are impacting the future of the home. We are curious by nature and speak with a wide variety of consumers - children, moms, athletes, doctors, the elderly, high net worth, low income, high tech, all-natural, inner city, you name it. Our curiosity, care and commitment compels each and every participant to feel comfortable sharing their lives with us and, when they do, we collect true insight.
We Go Everywhere
We conduct in-depth work in theme parks and on cruise ships, at professional sports league stadiums and at race tracks, in urban neighborhoods and in community centers.
We have conducted research at the TED Conference and at large national healthcare reform symposiums. Our in-home and shopper research is super rich where, in many cases, we spend 4, 5 or more hours in people’s lives for a more truly immersive learning experience. From the kitchen and cupboard, to the paddleboard and pilates class, we absolutely go everywhere, in the U.S. and around the globe. With more than 25 years of being tasked with some of the most challenging business questions, our reach is always expanding.

Contact Ahead of Fieldwork
We are totally hands on. We carefully select our recruits, screening and re-screening, to help ensure recruits not only pass the specs “on paper,” but align with the right attitude and spirit that is essential for a successful study. We often interact with each and every study participant – sometimes on a daily basis!
Immersive, Creative Assignments
We believe in extending and deepening the learning beyond the actual ethno or focus group with immersive, thoughtful and creative assignments – from collages and journals to MadLibs, product testing, participant-generated video tours and more.
Committed Travel Team
Our seasoned travel team normally consists of a senior moderator, senior project lead, creative services team member and videographer. We assist with writing concepts and positioning statements, re-imagining advertisements and communications, and redesigning marketing materials, often on the go - we come with full commitment and work within tight timelines.
Premium Video and Photography
We have invested heavily in our audio, video and lighting equipment for the road, as we have in both of our editing stations back in the office. We are meticulous with our video product and are well-equipped with Pelican cases to maneuver around the world. Our video end product must tell a clear and meaningful story, in high definition. We go absolutely everywhere.
